Dramatic photos reveal the charred remains of a United States helicopter after a counterterrorism objective targeted the leader of the Islamic State militant group.
Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi passed away by taking off a bomb that eliminated himself and members of his household as United States forces approached.
The helicopter was deserted after suffering a mechanical issue and was later on ruined in a United States air campaign.
