The Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich stated Wednesday that he will offer the Chelsea soccer club in England, a significant relocation that is available in action to outrage over Russia’s intrusion of Ukraine.

Abramovich at the very same time revealed that he has actually advised the popular group to establish a structure that will utilize all net profits of the sale of Chelsea to “benefit all victims of the war in Ukraine.”

Abramovich stated in a declaration, “As I have stated before, I have always taken decisions with the Club’s best interest at heart. In the current situation, I have therefore taken the decision to sell the Club, as I believe this is in the best interest of the Club, the fans, the employees, as well as the Club’s sponsors and partners.”

The sale statement came less than a week after the billionaire stated that he was transfer stewardship of the club to the trustees of a charitable structure, and after calls that Abramovich deal with sanctions from the United Kingdom.

Abramovich purchased Chelsea, which is based in London, in 2003.
