The Russo household is back!
Selena Gomez just recently reunited with numerous of her Wizards of Waverly Place costars, in the middle of news of an approaching spinoff of the hit Disney series. David Henrie and David DeLuise, who played her character Alex Russo’s bro Justin and father Jerry, respectively, shared an image of themselves with the starlet and fellow previous cast member Maria Canals Barrera, who depicted the kids’ mommy Theresa.
“The Russos…coming back #wizardsofwaverlyplace @wizardspod,” DeLuise captioned hisJan 26 Instagram post, referencing the Wizards of Waverly Pod podcast that he cohosts with fellow program alum Jennifer Stone, who played Alex’s BFF Harper Finkle and ended up being a signed up nurse in 2020, at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Henrie and DeLuise shared their reunion photo, which marked the greatest Wizards of Waverly Place reunion in years, a week after E! News validated that the series– which ranged from 2007 to 2012– is getting a follow up. Gomez, 31, and Henrie, 34, will act as executive manufacturer.
