Shanna Moakler is grieving the current loss of her papa while still grieving the death of her mama, who died previously this year.
The design revealedAug 11 that her daddy, longtime Rhode Island dental practitionerDr John W. Moakler III, had actually passed away. He was 85.
“It’s with great sadness to share the passing of my dad, the only solace is knowing he is with my beautiful mother,” Shanna, 48, composed on her Instagram, along with pictures of herself with her daddy, her mama and the rest of their household. “I am so thankful I got to have as many years with my parents as I did, and to have the time I had these last weeks with him.”
Shanna’s mom, long time oral hygienist Gail Moakler, passed away suddenly in January at age 77 at a Rhode Island health center, according to her obituary. In addition to the Miss U.S.A. 1995 winner, she and John are likewise made it through by the design’s bro John W. Moakler IV and stepbrother Kirk Moakler Gail was wed to their papa for 52 years.
