A young kid in Australia had a fortunate escape after a shark lunged for his chest while he was out on a fishing expedition.

Manni Alam had actually simply captured a coral trout while swimming in the waters around Lady Musgrave Island on the Great Barrier Reef.

Family buddy Moe Alsayed, who was leading the journey together with Manni’s papa Radwan, asked the eight-year-old to flaunt the catch while he shot for a TikTo k.

But as Manni slapped the fish down on the deck of the boat, a shark break out of the water under his arm and secured its jaws around his chest.

The attack is just revealed for a flash on the video, as Moe stopped shooting to attempt and assist.

Manni later on stated the shark didn’t hold on for long, and he was simply entrusted to a little scratch.

He informed Australia’s 9New s: ‘I captured this big trout, and I simply wished to reveal it on TikTo k.

‘I went in the water, I was holding the trout, then a huge shark attacked me for the fish.’

He included: ‘It just felt like a little bite – it hurt a bit on the chest, but that’ s it.’

Radwan stated: ‘Anyone that’ s dived, understands that it’s a really typical thing when you’re diving.

‘Sharks are a very, very common occurrence.’

An examination for the Florida Museum of Natural History’s International Shark Attack File in 2015 discovered that there were 12 unprovoked shark bites reported in Australia in 2021, of which 3 were deadly.

Most of those occurrences remained in New South Wales, where a scuba diver shot a chillingly close encounter last month.

But none of it will stop Manni from leaping back into the gorgeous sea off eastern Australia in the future.

He informed the news channel: ‘I’ m returning in.’
