Gymnastics super star Simone Biles is set to take the competitive phase later on this summer season, in her very first approved occasion in almost 2 years, authorities stated Wednesday.

Organizers of the U.S. Classic revealed that the four-time gold medalist will contend in case on Aug 4-5 at NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

It would be her very first competitors because the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, when she brought around the world attention to the psychological health battles of professional athletes.

Biles, 26, was a breakout star of the 2016 Rio Olympics, striking gold in the group all-around, private well-rounded, vault and flooring workout and taking a bronze on the balance beam.

Later, she described to NBC’s Andrea Joyce that her battle was “more mental, and we’re just dealing with a couple of things internally.”

Biles’ look in the August competitors will raise hopes that she’ll attempt to make her 3rd Olympics, when the world’s biggest professional athletes collect in Paris next year. But her status for 2024 is still unsure.

Without Biles in Tokyo 2 years back, the U.S. ladies’s group still recorded silver in group competitors. She went back to action in Tokyo to win bronze on the beam.

Since Biles last completed, she wed Green Bay Packers security Jonathan Owens in an event previously this year.
