At least 14 individuals were hurt when an escalator at a hectic South Korean train station all of a sudden reversed instructions, sending out riders speeding towards the ground.
Security video recorded the heart-stopping minute an escalator at the dynamic Sunae station in Bundang, south of the capital of Seoul in Gyeonggi Province, went rogue throughout the Thursday early morning rush-hour.

An upkeep business performed a regular monthly evaluation on the escalator in May and reported no problems.
