Apparently, fact, time and Spencer Pratt talk.
The Hills alum didn’t keep back about the renowned MTV truth program throughout his newest look on Spotify’s Call Her Daddy podcast, informing host Alex Cooper that he was really the mastermind behind frenemy Lauren Conrad and Brody Jenner‘s on-screen relationship. According to Spencer, he set Brody up with the designer to “better” her story on the program.
Describing LC as a “nice girl,” Spencer remembered, “It was all great, to the point where I talked Brody into breaking up with Nicole Richie to phony double-date with LC.”
The truth star went on to discuss that by having Brody “break up with his celebrity, superstar girlfriend” to date Lauren, he was being a “teammate” for The Hills cast. “Everyone wins,” stated Spencer, who, already, was dating Lauren’s good friend (and now better half) Heidi Montag “I wanted all of us to win.”
To attract public interest in Lauren’s enjoy life, Spencer stated he tipped the paparazzi off about their double date so their pictures would land in the tabloids. However, his strategy backfired and he kept in mind Lauren blowing up at him for the stunt. “All due respect to LC,” he kept in mind, “she’d never been in a tabloid until I unlocked that for her.”
