A Sphynx feline cruelly tattooed by a criminal gang behind bars in Mexico has actually been saved and requires a brand-new house.
The feline, which does not have a name, and has to do with one years of age, was discovered in a prison where it suffered mistreatment by crooks.
The scoundrels even tattooed ‘Made in Mexico’ into its furless skin, with other markings on both sides of its body.
She was taken into care by animal rescue employees in the Mexican city of Juarez after authorities found her.
Authorities state they are now trying to find the right household to take the feline, which is not for sale, into their house.
‘The cat is very sociable, and is in great shape, with no infections,’ Cesar Rene Diaz, ecology director for the city of Juarez, informed Reuters.
A committee of city authorities will make the decision about the adoption prior to providing the feline to its brand-new household in an event on March 1.
Sphynx felines are understood for their absence of a fur coat and loose skin that forms wrinkles in some locations.
Due to the absence of fur, the Sphynx feline bone structure and musculature are on display screen.
