    A scuba diver had an extremely close encounter with a shark who swam previous and ‘smiled’ at him.

    Matt Prior was diving at South West Rock, on the mid north coast of New South Wales, when a Grey Nurse Shark started to move previous him, the MailOnline reports.

    He caught the heart-stopping minute when the toothy predator swam towards the scuba diver.

    The shark bared its razor sharp teeth at Mr Prior, however the frightening animal keeps swimming on in another instructions.
