These summer season days are not over right now.
Ahead of its season 2 ending, Prime Video validated that The Summer I Turned Pretty series, based upon Jenny Han‘s book trilogy of the exact same name, will return for season 3.
Unlike the season one’s 7 episodes and season 2’s 8 episodes, the upcoming installation will have 10 episodes, according to a Prime Video press release.
“Jenny Han is a gifted storyteller, whose fans have been clamoring for the third chapter of this story,” Vernon Sanders, the head of tv for Amazon and MGM Studios stated in a declaration. “We’re thrilled today to share the news that they have a lot more Summer to anticipate.”
However, Prime Video kept in mind that production on the program will not begin in the middle of the continuous Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA strikes. (The 2 unions, representing film writers and stars, respectively, required a strike previously this year after stopping working to reach an agreement handle the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.)
