President Donald Trump tweeted Thursday that a European Commission great slapped on Google is evidence that EU has “taken advantage of the US.”

The European Union’s executive arm hit Google with a $5 billion fine on Wednesday, following an antitrust examination of the Android mobile os. The examination concluded that needing phone producers to preload particular Google apps and services onto Android phones avoids development and rejects option to customers throughout Europe.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai released an article quickly after the fine was revealed, detailing the factors he disagreed with the EU’s choice and stating the business prepares to appeal the fine.

The EU often takes tech business to job over problems such as taxes, antitrust problems and personal privacy, however Trump is translating this specific fine as a minor versus the United States.

“I told you so! The European Union just slapped a Five Billion Dollar fine on one of our great companies, Google,” hetweeted “They truly have taken advantage of the US, but not for long!”

Over the weekend, Trump implicated the EU of being a financial “foe” of the United States following a NATO top and a journey to the UK. He utilized the example of Wednesday’s fine to hammer the point house.

A spokesperson for the European Competition Commission decreased to comment. Representatives for Google and the White House didn’t react to ask for remark.
