A federal judge on Friday did not approve a Justice Department demand to hold previous President Donald Trump’s workplace in contempt of court for presumably stopping working to adhere to a grand jury subpoena, NBC News reported.
The department desired Judge Beryl Howell to discover Trump’s workplace in contempt for not completely adhering to the subpoena released in May, which required he return categorized files still in his ownership, according to an individual acquainted with the problem who talked to NBC News.
