WASHINGTON– President Joe Biden revealed Tuesday that the United States will prohibit Russian airplane from flying through U.S. airspace.
The statement can be found in Biden’s very first State of the Union address and began the heels of comparable relocations by the European Union and Canada.
“We will join our allies in closing off American air space to all Russian flights – further isolating Russia – and adding an additional squeeze –on their economy,” Biden stated.
The relocation would restrict airplanes that are owned or signed up by Russians from flying over the United States, the most recent collaborated technique in between U.S. and its allies in the middle of the Kremlin’s war in Ukraine.
