Jeb Stuart states Vikings: Valhalla is its own program.
Stuart, who has actually worked as a film writer for Die Hard and The Fugitive, is now handling the follow up to Michael Hirst‘s well known historic drama Vikings And onFeb 25, the showrunner for Netflix’s brand-new series Vikings: Valhalla discussed that the series differs from its predecessor.
“It’s always tricky following a successful show with a following,” he informed Variety “One thing that I do know was going to be a recipe for failure was trying to do a show that was ‘Jeb Stuart writing a Michael Hirst script.'”
He discussed that while he was a fan of the initial program, he and Hirst are “just two entirely different writers.”
“I’m actually trying to please fans like me,” he continued, “and at the exact same time, attempting to make a program that would reach a larger audience in some aspects so it does not need to appear excessive like Vikings“
