During Vin Diesel‘s upcoming look on E! News’ Daily Pop, the star offers fans a lot to think of concerning the possibility of the Fast and Furious franchise including an onscreen function for Paul Walker‘s child.
As seen in a special clip from his interview that airs on Thursday, June 17, the 53-year-old star, best understood for playing Dom Toretto in the age-old car-racing movie series, shared why it’s been essential to him that the franchise permit Paul’s character, Brian O’Conner, to survive on in its cinematic world. Paul passed away in an auto accident in November 2013, while Furious 7 remained in the middle of shooting.
“When the catastrophe occurred back in 2013, we stopped shooting Furious 7 for about 5 months due to the fact that we were covering our heads around what we were going to do, while grieving,” Vin remembered. “And the studio accepted a bold decision, which was to allow the character to exist in our mythology.”
