Wednesday Addams depends on something fishy.
In the brand-new trailer for Wednesday, premiering this fall on Netflix, the cherished story of the Addams Family gets a modern-day twist. But do not stress–Wednesday, played by Jenna Ortega, definitely hasn’t lost her edge.
“Miss Addams, you’ve certainly had a very interesting educational journey,” a voiceover states in the trailer, as Wednesday strolls the halls of Nancy Reagan HighSchool “Eight schools in five years.”
After going into into the school’s swimming pool location where a water polo practice is underway, a gamer informs Wednesday, “Hey freak, this is a closed practice.”
Wednesday, plainly with a vendetta on her mind, does not take kindly to the smart words of the jock, as she reacts, “The only person who gets to torture my brother is me.”
That’s when Wednesday holds up 2 bags filled with piranhas and releases them into the swimming pool.
“I did the world a favor,” Wednesday states. “People like Dalton shouldn’t be allowed to procreate. Getting expelled was just a bonus.”
