Like much of us over the previous year, Saturday Night Live needed to determine how to move on in the unlikeliest of circumstances.
But unlike much of us over the previous year, that suggested finding out how to securely make a live funny program with a big cast at a time when things were neither amusing nor safe for big crowds. A brand-new series of featurettes offer a taste of what it resembled behind the scenes as the long-running range reveal handled its greatest difficulty ever: an international pandemic.
E! News has a special very first take a look at the project with a peek at Lorne Michaels‘ speech to the cast throughout their very first in-person table read, after a couple of efforts at at-home episodes.
“You might have noticed this is a little scary,” he states from behind a mask, to a space loaded with other masked individuals all sitting at different tables. “Everything will be different—where we make our decisions, how we make our decisions, what rehearsal is like, and then when you’re on the air, it’ll feel pretty much the same.”
