Emma Stone would enjoy a brand-new name in the city of stars.
The Poor Things starlet, whose genuine name is Emily Jean Stone, just recently described that regardless of needing to take the name “Emma” when she initially signed up with the Screen Actors Guild, she would actually delight in being called Emily when again.
“That would be so nice,” she informed The Hollywood Reporter in an interview released April24 “I would like to be Emily.”
Emma described that she needed to take the name “Emma Stone” when getting her droop card due to the fact that there was currently another starlet with the name “Emily Stone” signed up with the union.
But it may not simply be a dream, due to the fact that there are currently folks in Hollywood who do call her by her genuine name.
“When I get to know them, people that I work with do,” she described. “I freaked out a couple of years ago. For some reason, I was like, ‘I can’t do it anymore. Just call me Emily.'”
