Ian Somerhalder isn’t thirsting to sink his teeth into another function.
In truth, the Vampire Diaries alum does not even miss out on acting after relocating to a farm beyond Los Angeles with his partner Nikki Reed to focus on household– including their 6-year-old child and 6-month-old boy– and reconnect with nature.
“I love what I did for a really long time,” Ian informed E! News at theJan 11 screening of Common Ground in collaboration with Maker’sMark “I love making films, I just did it for so long. We had an amazing run.”
However, Ian does review set life fondly, explaining it as a “community” and a “family.”
“But this is our 2.0 version,” he stated, before turning to Nikki with a smile, “about to be 3.0 version.”
In the couple’s brand-new dawn, Ian, 45, and Nikki, 35, are concentrated on developing a much better future for the next generation. That’s why they got included as executive manufacturers on Common Ground, a follow-up to the 2020 documentary Kiss the Ground about how the “regenerative agriculture” motion might aid with the international food system and Earth’s environment.
