While she’s still stimulating pleasure, Marie Kondo is not cleaning up in the house as much nowadays. Why? One word: Kids.
The life of the Japanese arranging specialist– developer of the KonMari Method of cleaning and star of Netflix’s Tidying Up with Marie Kondo– altered in more methods than one after she and hubby Takumi Kawahara invited their 3rd kid, a child, in 2021.
“Up until now, I was a professional tidier, so I did my best to keep my home tidy at all times. I have kind of given up on that in a good way for me,” she stated through an interpreter at a current media webinar and virtual tea event, The Washington Post reportedJan 26, “Now I realize what is important to me is enjoying spending time with my children at home.”
Marie, likewise a mama to children Satsuki, 7, and Miko, 6, likewise stated, “My home is messy, but the way I am spending my time is the right way for me at this time at this stage of my life.”
