A mum who fell on the ‘world’ s most unsafe plant’ states the discomfort was ‘worse than childbirth.’
Naomi Lewis came off her bike in North Queensland and thankfully had something soft cushion her landing.

Known as the ‘giant Australian stinging tree’ due to the severe discomfort it triggers, it belongs to the nettle household.
The plant injected Naomi’s skin with venom which resulted in 6 months of physical abuse.
She informed ABC news: ‘The discomfort was simply beyond excruciating.
‘The body gets to a pain threshold and then I started vomiting. I’ ve had 4 kids– 3 caesareans and one natural.
‘Childbirth, none of them even come close.’
After she fell on the gympie-gympie plant, Naomi’s other half hurried her to a drug store.
