Vanna White understands she hit the mark when she signed on to Wheel of Fortune in 1982.

“I wanted the job so badly.” she remembered to E! News in 2020, explaining the almost intolerable nerves she felt throughout her audition for the program. “I didn’t think I had any chance of getting it.”
