You Must See New Prince Philip Photos With His Great-Grandchildren – E! Online

To some, Prince Philip was a guy of royalty. For others, he was merely one cool great-grandfather.

As funeral preparations continue for the Duke of Edinburgh, lots of members of the royal household are reflecting on his life through the magic of images. 

On Wednesday, April 14, Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s Instagram account shared a throwback image from Balmoral Castle in 2015 where Prince Philip and his partner Queen Elizabeth II positioned with Prince George and Princess Charlotte when she was simply an infant.

“Today we share, along with Members of @theroyalfamily, photographs of The Duke of Edinburgh,” the account specified. “Remembering him as a father, grandfather and great-grandfather.”

If that wasn’t sweet enough, an image from 2018 resurfaced that revealed simply just how much love remained in the household. As the caption specified, “The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh surrounded by seven of their great-grandchildren at Balmoral Castle in 2018.”
