Based on a real-life turn of occasions, Culkin played “King of the Club Kids” Michael Alig, who invested nearly 17 years in jail for murder after he and Robert “Freeze” Riggs eliminated and dismembered fellow New York nightlife fanatic Andre “Angel” Melendez in1996 Riggs likewise served jail time for murder.
