Kentucky: Tree surgeon falls into wooden chipper by Christmas lights

A Kentucky tree trimmer died after falling right into a wooden chipper whereas working close to a Christmas show, native authorities have mentioned.

Joseph ‘Joey’ Wesley Manire, 46, was pruning bushes in Owensboro’s Stonegate space on Monday when he turned entangled in Christmas lights.

He sustained traumatic accidents when he fell partially into the trail of a wooden chipper, the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to The Owensboro Times.

Emergency first responders pronounced Manire useless on the scene at round 5pm.

The sheriff’s workplace wrote in a launch, per: ‘A local tree trimming contractor was doing some work when an employee became tangled and fell partially into a wood chipper.’

The sheriff’s workplace has launched an investigation into the incident, saying that no foul play is suspected.

The Hopkinsville, Kentucky, native labored on the McEnroe Tree Service, based on his public memorial web page.

The incident appeared to happen close to the Owensboro Christmas Lights, an annual gentle present.

Organisers urged folks to be ‘cautious’ if travelling close by the world on Monday.

Manire’s funeral is to be held right this moment at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton.
