Luckily, the current makeup design taking control of the social networks platform does not need using random white dots under your eyes to hypnotize guys or including a glowy sunburn result on your cheeks. Instead, TikTok’s buzzy brand-new pattern is a raised variation of using incorrect lashes.

As its name recommends, the pattern is influenced by Manga– a design of Japanese comics and graphic books– that imitates the anime characters’ significant eye looks. In order to attain this result, lots of TikTokers will either cut lash strips into little portions or utilize private lashes, and separate the hairs into clumps with undetected glue. The result accentuates the eyes with its pointy and doll-like surface.
Sacheu charm creator, Sarah Cheung, shared a detailed guide on how to attain the now-viral appearance.
“I usually find that it’s best to apply five to seven of these little individual lashes,” she discussed in a TikTok video, after cutting up the strip lashes herself. “There’s definitely a little bit of a learning curve. I have to apply and adjust.”
